Why Insight China?
Noël was inspired to join Insight China by his strong curiosity to explore the Chinese culture, economy, and business practices. In today’s global landscape, understanding diverse markets and cultures is invaluable—and China plays a central role in this. The project’s perfect blend of theoretical knowledge, practical experience and the opportunity to make valuable connections further appealed to him.
Outside the academic setting, Noël sees Insight China as a fantastic space for collaboration. Working with motivated peers has not only strengthened his organizational and communication skills but also developed a keen ability to work in an intercultural setting.

Overall, the mix of cultural exchange, teamwork, and real-world experience sealed the deal for Noël.

What does Noël’s role involve?
As the Finance & Partnership Manager, he is at the heart of Insight China’s strategic relationships, ensuring the project’s financial health and sustainability. Including:
➡️ Building and nurturing partnerships with key companies and organizations
➡️ Monitoring and managing the project budget
➡️ Conducting fundraising and sponsorship outreach
➡️ Overseeing contract management and financial reporting

👀 Did you know? Noël already had a successful career as an ice hockey player! The sport instilled essential qualities such as team spirit, discipline, and perseverance, which continue to benefit him in his role at Insight China and in his auditing position at Ernst & Young.
