2026 marks a milestone: 25 years of Insight China. Since its founding in 2001 at the FHNW School of Business, the student-led project has united students, alumni, experts, and sponsors, creating opportunities for growth while connecting companies with students eager to explore China’s role in global business.
Insight China 2026: The 25th Anniversary Edition
Over the past quarter century, Insight China has mirrored China’s remarkable transformation—from emerging economy to global powerhouse, technology leader, manufacturing hub, and strategic actor in global supply and value chains.
As we begin our second quarter century, Insight China looks beyond China’s rise to focus on its impact on the global economy, on Europe, and on Switzerland. We aim to explore both the opportunities and the challenges this evolving relationship presents.
The program itself has also evolved: from the early study trips of 2001 to today’s carefully curated conferences, career events, and delegations. Each generation of participants has contributed fresh ideas and perspectives, making Insight China a living project of continuous exchange and renewal.
