Founded in 2001, Insight China is a prestigious initiative at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW). This esteemed program provides ambitious students with a unique opportunity to delve into China’s vibrant cultural and economic landscape. By fostering meaningful exchanges between professionals and students, Insight China effectively bridges the gap between theory and practice, enhancing the learning experience for both parties. Our mission is to facilitate the transfer of knowledge and build strong foundations for business relationships in China.

Seminar in Switzerland
The seminar in Switzerland will take place from the 15th to 19th  February 2027, with selected speakers from various fields sharing their expertise on China and this year’s theme.

13th March – 2027

Career Fair
During the week of the seminar in Switzerland, partners will have the opportunity to meet our delegation and students face-to-face, allowing you to meet potential employees and find suitable candidates for open positions.

March to April – 2027

Seminar in China
From the 18th of March to 02th of April 2027, the Insight China team will visit Beijing, Shanghai, and the Greater Bay Area with 25 FHNW students and lecturers. The seminar offers firsthand insights into China through visits to companies, institutions, and universities, expanding knowledge, perspectives, and networks.

May – 2027

Final Event
On the evening of May 4th 2027, all four student projects will hold a closing event reflecting on this year’s journey.
