Join Insight China 2026/27

Ready to step out of the classroom and take on something bigger? Join the Insight China Project at FHNW, one of four International Student Projects (ISP), and help organise a study trip from students for students. Work with international partners, gain real business insights, and build a global network – all while experiencing China first-hand and boosting your future career.

Timeline

The project kicks off in June, when the current team hands everything over to you. From there, you’ll team up with our supervisor Michael Jeive to lay the foundation and set the direction for the entire project.
And then it’s go time: you’ll start reaching out to partners, sponsors, and inspiring speakers to turn the Seminar in Switzerland in February into a real highlight.
At the same time, you’ll dive into planning the two-week Seminar Abroad in April shaping an international experience packed with insights, connections, and unforgettable moments.

Important Dates

Application Finished by 15th of May 2026
Seminar in Switzerland: February 15th to 19th February 2027.
Seminar in China: about two weeks – March/ April 2027
Final Event: first week of May 2027

Destinations 2025/26

Insight China 2025/26 will explore three dynamic hubs across China, each offering unique insights and opportunities. 
– Beijing Hub
– Shanghai Hub
– Greater Bay Area Hub
(Hong Kong and Shenzhen)

Project Team

Work as a team of four and take ownership of the project by dividing key responsibilities — from managing the budget to organising seminars and building strong partnerships — while shaping the entire experience together.

Communications Team

Ready to bring the project to life? You’ll shape how it’s seen and experienced from the outside by managing and developing the website, running social media and creating engaging content, as well as designing presentations, brochures, and visuals for sponsor and partner meetings. At the same time, you’ll tell the story of the project and capture its most memorable moments.

Communications Team COMPENSATION: 10 ECTS (all graded)
BSc Betriebsökonomie/BSc Business Administration (IM):
– 5 ECTS Wirtschaftskommunikation/Business Communication 4 (autumn)
– 5 ECTS Integrationsmodul/Integration Module (spring)
Students of all other degree programmes as per credit allocation in their specific programme

All Communications Team members receive a Letter of Recommendation signed by the Director of the
School of Business & the ISP Coordinator.
