What is Insight China?
Founded in 2001, Insight China is a prestigious initiative at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW). This esteemed program provides ambitious students with a unique opportunity to delve into China’s vibrant cultural and economic landscape. By fostering meaningful exchanges between professionals and students, Insight China effectively bridges the gap between theory and practice, enhancing the learning experience for both parties. Our mission is to facilitate the transfer of knowledge and build strong foundations for business relationships in China.

Seminar in Switzerland
The Seminar in Switzerland, held at FHNW, centers on this year’s themeĀ ‘Leveraging China’s High-Tech Innovations’. This seminar features presentations from industry experts who offer valuable insight into the nuances of life and business in China. All delegation members participate in this crucial seminar, laying the groundwork for their upcoming experiences.
Seminar Abroad
The Seminar Abroad transports students and faculty to various cities across China, emphasizing hands-on learning and knowledge exchange. Participants engage with senior executives, government officials, and academics, and visit leading companies, public institutions, and universities. This immersive experience provides a comprehensive view of China’s economic and cultural diversity, making it an exceptional opportunity to broaded one’s perspective.
Final Event
The Final Event, held at FHNW, serves as a platform for reflecting on and sythesizing the insight gained during both Seminars. Insight China and our partner projects present findings and experiences, celebrating the knowledge acquired and the connections made throughout the program.
